NN Group contains insurance operations, NN Bank and investment activities across several countries. Group accounts, the banking subsidiary, insurance undertakings and management segments consequently require separate perimeters before earnings or capital figures can be compared.
What to read first
The 2025 annual report is the main consolidated record and the same library links the group SFCR. The structure-and-regulators page distinguishes principal businesses, while debt ratings and the exchange entry apply to the entity or instrument they name.
Reporting perimeter and reporting period
NN Group reports in EUR for a calendar year. The Netherlands insurance segments, international operations and NN Bank are management or legal scopes with different regulatory frameworks and denominators.

Group, legal-entity and subsidiary boundaries
NN Group N.V. is the listed parent of the consolidated NN Group. Nationale-Nederlanden and the group's other operating brands can span separately incorporated insurers, while NN Bank operates within a distinct banking regulatory perimeter. Group results can include all of those activities, but statutory capital and ratings apply to the particular insurance or banking legal entity named in the source.
Interpretation notes and limitations
A group Solvency II percentage is not a bank capital ratio or a solo insurer ratio. Operating capital generation and similar management measures retain NN's definition. Historical comparisons also need transaction, assumption and segment-restatement consistency.
