Tryg combines a listed Danish parent with non-life insurance operations in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The consolidated group, country businesses and regulated insurers are different layers, especially when a group combined ratio appears beside an SFCR capital measure.
What to read first
The 2025 reporting library provides the annual financial record. The SFCR page is the route to the stated regulatory scope, the ratings page names the rated company, and shareholder or Nasdaq material establishes ownership and market-record context.
Reporting perimeter and reporting period
Tryg's financial year follows the calendar year and group reporting is principally in DKK. Country results are management segments; they do not automatically identify the legal insurer that issued a policy. Regulatory documents define whether a ratio covers the group or an individual undertaking.

Group, legal-entity and subsidiary boundaries
Tryg A/S is the listed Danish parent of the consolidated Tryg group. Country and management segments describe commercial operations across Denmark, Norway and Sweden, but the licensed insurers within those markets remain separate legal undertakings. Group financial reporting and group solvency evidence cover the consolidated perimeter; solo regulatory evidence applies only to the specific insurer named in the filing.
Interpretation notes and limitations
A combined ratio uses earned-premium and claims definitions that belong to the published report. Solvency and rating evidence has a different purpose and denominator. Nordic peers may report similar labels under different acquisition, currency and reinsurance arrangements, limiting direct comparison.
